"You see an abandoned item on the city streets. You list it. Anyone can claim it."

Gomi is a community and movement based on the idea that if you see an item that someone has thrown out on the side of the road like a couch, TV, dresser, trampoline (yes weve had trampolines listed!) that you whip out your iPhone, list it, and that anyone nearby can browse and come get the item for free!

Were crowd-sourcing abandoned items on the side of the street.

You can also list stuff in your home, too, so long as youre giving it away for free.

Our goal is to turn trash into treasure across the entire world.

Key Features:

· Quickly browse for free abandoned items near you, in your home-town, your country and even internationally!

· Take part in the discussion of the most talked about and the most quirky items that people find;

· Create a wishlist to be notified when something you want is listed;

· Snap and list items in the street quickly and easily;

· Safely list items in your home without pinpointing your exact address - no one knows where you live unless you want to invite them over;

· Social Auction model to encourage social good in exchange for home items;

· Strong social interaction with comment and activity feeds, you can also favorite items to watch their movements;

· Gomi requires users to be connected to the internet and location services turned on for full functionality;

· Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
